Evident

Role: Senior Editor and Animator (2025-present)

In February 2025, I became a founding team member of Evident, a nonprofit news organization for investigative visual journalism. We combine evidence-based research with on-the-ground reporting to shed light on conflict, technology, corruption, and other global issues. Our journalism is collaborative and accessible, driven by our mission to make the truth evident.

A full collection of our work to date can be found here.

Inside the Secret Network Fueling Sudan’s War (2026)

Role: Editor and animator

On-the-ground reporting and open-source research reveals new details about the weapons trafficking and training that's fueling civil war in Sudan. Lighthouse Reports, Sudan War Monitor, Evident, and a consortium of journalists worldwide collaborated for over a year to unveil the depth of meddling by other countries in this bloody conflict. Our investigation shows how a Middle East power — and American partner — is pulling the strings from the shadows.

Agents of Chaos: Border Patrol’s Year of Unchecked Force (2026)

Role: Editor and animator

For the past year, Border Patrol agents far from their home bases have been moving city to city across America, and so have their tactics. Aggressive enforcement has escalated into a documented pattern of questionable detentions and use of force that grew more brazen with each deployment. This visual investigation from Evident Media, Bellingcat, and CalMatters tracks that pattern, confirming for the first time the identities of some of the agents whose conduct likely violated use-of-force policies and constitutional limits.

Strike on Iran: The Nuclear Question (2025)

Role: Animator

In collaboration with FRONTLINE, The Washington Post, and Bellingcat, this Emmy-winning investigation examines the status of Iran's nuclear program amid the second round of U.S.-Israeli military action in less than year. The documentary combines rare on-the-ground access inside Iran with in-depth forensic and open-source analysis to assess what was hit, what survived, and what it reveals about the future of the program.

Trump's DC Takeover Has Turned Traffic Stops Into a Deportation Pipeline (2025)

Role: Producer, researcher, editor, and animator

In Washington, D.C., what began as a local law enforcement crackdown on unregistered vehicles has turned into something else entirely, feeding the growing pipeline for immigration detention and deportation. Evident Media, along with our partners at Bellingcat, have geolocated, mapped and verified over 40 videos and photos from across the District. Many show strikingly similar tactics: traffic stops that quickly turn into detentions, officers pulling workers off mopeds and raids at known locations for immigrant laborers like Home Depot.

Operation Return To Sender (2025)

Role: Editor and animator

A border patrol unit traveled over 300 miles to carry out sweeping arrests and deportations in Bakersfield, California. This Emmy-nominated investigation from Evident, CalMatters, and Bellingcat reveals the truth behind claims of a targeted operation and shows how warrantless Homeland Security raids could impact two-thirds of the nation.
